Donald Watkins first began preparing tax returns as a first-year law student and volunteer for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA). VITA service helps low- to moderate-income individuals, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English speakers file their taxes each year.

After gaining valuable training and experience preparing Individual tax returns with VITA, Donald  began to professionally prepare Individual tax returns over twenty-five years ago. Donald has always continued formal training and education in the field of professional tax preparation so that he will always keep up to date with the latest tax laws, and prepare the most honest and accurate tax returns for his clients.

Since entering the tax preparation field, Donald has greatly expanded his tax expertise and practice. He has worked as a Tax Expert for the Intuit Software Company TurboTax, and launched MaxTax Services to provide high-quality tax planning and preparation for Individuals, Small Businesses, and Rental owners. Donald is an Enrolled Agent. Enrolled to represent MaxTax clients and practice before the IRS.
